I can cook, but I'm 22 so I guess by this age its somewhat expected of you. Though I know quite a few girls who got married in the last few years and still didnt know how to cook. I think ppl are accepting it more as something you'll learn after you're married or after you've finished uni/college.

But the only reason i learnt was cos my mum went to Pak for 6 months when i was 18 and left me with my dad and bros so i had to learn out of necessity, i dont think i would have otherwise.

and cupcakes
and cookies
and andaa
and roti

and I basically know how to make Chicken Curry, Briyaani, Daal, etc. (but I'm nothing without Ammi in the kitchen with me lol)

i can cook mostly nething (i dont bake tho...)...but i still get the lecture from mom..she's never satisfied! yeh theek nahin kya...woh theek nahin kya...pooch to leti...etc etc. never satisfied man

Whenever I’m in the kitchen, I always have to have my cd player with me when I’m making something :elmo:
I dunno how Ammi can be in the kitchen for so long without even a CD player or TV nearby :eek:
