do you know of that are “wrapped around their wife’s pinky”?

You know the kind…

  • boys want to go out after work but he can’t until he’s ‘asked’ the wife…(and no, I don’t mean “tell” her or “let her know”)
  • boys want to go camping but he can’t join cuz the wife hasn’t had a girl’s trip…(everything has to be “equal”, “tit for tat”)

actually well now that I think about it, I do know someone…though those examples you gave never took place, it appeared he was wrapped in other ways. :hmmm:

One of my husbands friends is like that. He isnt allowed to do anything. Like when I say anything....I mean anything! If he wants to hang out with his friends, they have to go over to his place, and his wife is usually there too hanging out with them. She goes out a lot, and makes him stay home and watch their son. The only time I have ever seen him allowed out is when she goes back to India to visit her parents.

My husband and friends wanted to go camping on a long weekend, but he wasnt allowed to join them. Its so bad that he cant even go for coffee with his friends. And if my husband and friends go over to their place, and some of the friends want to have a smoke outside, she will go with them as well.

I have seen if wives don't get along hubbies no matter how long n good their friendship is no longer there :(

Almost all my married friends here in Lahore apparently are subservient to their wives. No we don't talk about specific instances but it is pretty much evident. They can't take out time on weekends and when they do, they are literally shaken up when their wives call. Phrases I hear are

"Bas a raha hoon"

"Bas woh gari ka kam karwana tha....15 min mein ghar pohanch raha hoon...tumhe kuch chahiyay?"

and then they hurry back home

It is quite sad actually. Seems like its more common in Pakistan

I know one lady :wink: she has three husbands. one always ask permission even if he goes to washroom, another one informed her that he is going to washroom while third one never ask any permission. He is kind of dabang. :rotfl:
