Do you need?? I know some people can get 4 hours of sleep and theyre good. I need 8 minimum. No idea why. Ive been trying to make it so that i would be good to go after 4 or 5 myself..tried it a few times but just couldnt function properly. Also, what do you guys do to actually fall asleep?? Like ill get to bed but ill just lay there and not actually fall asleep til like an hour (in some cases 2) in.

Story of my life! I need my 8-10hours of sleep regulary but I can’t, because I sleep late, just like you said, no matter how tired I am I usually end up laying on my bed with eyes wide open for atleast an hour. Thanks to early morning classes, and late night sleeping I end up sleeping 12-15 hours on weekends.
And then there’s my friend who doesn’t sleep more than 5 hours. EVER! ![]()

I really envy those who can get by on 4-5 hours sleep lol. Recently to help myself fall asleep, i took sleeping pills to knock myself out occasionally

7-10 hours, depends what day it is though...
use to be like 3ish-4 hours, then i got rid of a few bad/NEGATIVE influences in my life. ;)

I can operate at less sleep (4-5 hours) for few days but for me to respring, i have to have a night where I get 8 hours.

Aap ne ghalat suna hai. I heard that older you get, less sleep you need.
BTW. I am born grumpy. you give me a 12 hours sleep and I will still wake up grumpy :D

see my problem is that i have a very inconsistent sleeping pattern. There was a study just recently and it said that if you have a consistent sleeping pattern ie get up and go to sleep at the same time every day, your body will eventually by second nature wake itself and shut itself down at those hours. Consistency is key - which i sorely lack

I get 6 to 7 hours of sleep. For some reason..i do not like sleeping for long..and since i am a morning person..i look forward to waking up in the morning..

Consistency is key - which i sorely lack
I do know some people are like that, but not me. I consistently fall sleep and wake up at the same time every day (minus Saturdays) and I never wake up by myself.
I need at least 7 hours to operate. The more the merrier.
