how long did you know your partner?

Hi everyone…I am new to this forum

I will be getting married in August of this year InsaAllah.

I wanted to know how many of you who are married or are getting married…know your partner before you got married?
and how long did you know them untill you got married?

i know him forever hes frm my fathers family but we started talking to each other alot when we got engaged it was three years back

I knew my partner for 4 years, pretty muchall through college really (i was on the 5 1/2 years undergrad program), but then after graduation we lost contact. I moved to a diff state for my masters and a few years later met this amazing girl and we got married.

a few years after we got married, we moved to a different state and I ran into my partner by chance. I went to play raquetball at this local place and surprise surprise he was there. we paired up again and were a force to be reckoned with on the courts just like teh good old days of college when we won the college raquetball doubles championship. we made a fantastic duo.
