How long after marriage did you have your 1st child?

Did anyone change their mind from before the marriage to after? For example: Let’s say you always thought you’d have kids 3-4 years after marriage…but once married…you wanted children immediately (or within a few months).

2 Years. We decided that how we wanted it after we got married. Decision didn't change

2 years ... no timeframe in mind but we did know that we didn't want kids instantly.

TOOO early :( got pregnant just 6 months the wedding. :'( mistake of course, but totatlly in love with our little one now :)

Wow....7 years to 6 months....quite a range! I was very curious about this since this has been on my mind a lot lately.

Rabia: lol...wow! Out of sheer curiosity since this is not something I personally hear about often.....did you have to deal with any "drama" due to the timing? Or was everyone happy and too caught up with the baby?

I wanted to wait for a year or so after marriage for kids but after a month of marriage i really wanted to try for kids, we conceived 9 months after marriage and im due next month inshallah :)

became pregnant one month after wedding. we had both wanted kids right away ... though hadn't expect Allah to grant us that wish quite that quickly. :D
but alhumdullilah ... we are grateful and cant imagine it being any other way.

our wedding was a total arranged, we only met once before getting engaged....We never spoke after that until our nikkah..soooo no discussion about baby,,,after 6 months of shadii i really wanted to hav kids.I became preg after 8 months of wedding.

I wanted 2 have kids straight away :) but got my first baby after 2 years allhumdullah :)

A lil over 7 years was when we were blessed.Alhumdullilah for the blessing...:)

after 20days of marriage i found out that i'm 1month pregnant....
it was a surprise as we wanted to conceive after 2yrz of marriage lol
it'll be 8 or 8.5months of our marriage when our baby will arrive inshaAllah
