I used to have a friend back when we were in high school in Pakistan…
She was a nice girl, very sweet and generous. She was not a good student. They were very rich people. She has cousins in the Pakistan fashion industry and her sister was also a model.
We all knew that her dad used to drink…a lot :-/ Like he was addicted to alcohol 
The whole class knew it. He passed away when we were in late high school, with liver problems…leaving behind her mom (who had gotten married to him when she was 18, she was a model too) and her siblings, they were all sisters.
Her mom was not able to manage her dad’s business, and they were all young. Laalchi rishtaydaars ended up getting ownership of her dad’s business.
The sister became an air hostess I think, and eventually got married to some weirdo kind of guy who had some shady background.
We heard that our friend had come abroad somewhere for studies and was living with rishtaydaars…
Anyways, I lost touch with her after some time, she wasn’t a close friend…
Abhee recently I heard what’s happenned to her…
After she came abroad, her rishtaydaars were not treating her nicely, so she eventually got a part time job and moved out and started supporting herself…
She eventually got married to some black guy :-/
Then he left her and now she is alone, she got laid off, and she is on welfare apparently…
I thought whoaaa how weird, may Allah protect her 
I don’t even know where she is…
its so strange to think how much her life has changed and how tough things must be for her
