Hi there guys,

I’m from South Africa but will soon travel to U.K inshahllah.

I just wanted to know about the life out there, hows London and u know what i need to know.

London is great! UK is great too! it depends what sort of places you want to see and what you are into! in London do go to Kensington Palace!

very likely you will be using underground please donot take any back packs .
Must go to Wales and Alton Towers . Very expensive but good news is that it is too small to go broke while touring .

Uk is brilliant so multicultural!!!!!!!!!!! and yes Wales is very scenic and generally it is a friendly and welcoming country..............and u won't miss out on desi food much as is readily available most places apart from cornwall.......

there is loads to do just in london itself and u can visit other cities too
do the tourist thing, see bukingham palace, regents park, millenium wheel etc

alton towers is a good place

The UK is cold at the moment.
Where will you be staying?

In London there are many places to go…Covent Garden, Oxford Street if you like shopping, London Aquarium, London Eye, Madame Taussauds if you like sighseeing, theatre and restaurants in the West End if you like going out

If you want to do some asian shopping then a trip to Southall is definately worthwhile :halo:

In Birmingham there is the Bullring shopping centre and the Mailbox for shopping and food - both of which are very good.

Do not use Londer underground. Just sit on the front seat of the upper deck of a London bus and roam around. You will enjoy a lot then, I think.
