anyways, I havent dated an Arab but I do have a few Arab friends and they r extremely nice. Arab girls r beautiful and Arab guys r also very good looking. Keep in mind, though they r muslims, there are A LOT of cultural differences between pakistanis and arabs.

Hmmm this is an interesting question cuz I know quite a few desi- Arab couples where I live. The levantine Arabs espescially Palestinian seem to be more open to dating outside their culture, the only rule is you are a good Muslim and actually have a deep understanding of Islam. The arabs I went to school with were very pretty and you could tell by interacting with them that they had high Iman and followed Islam closely. I guess that is because some parts of Islam are a part of Arab culture and they understand the Quran and Hadith when they hear them. One note when dating Arabs is that they are usually quite fobby. You’d hear them talk to each other in Arabic when they were born abroad. I find that really weird like you don’t see paki-americans talking and joking in urdu/Punjabi with each other.

I know a few arabs and pakis dating each other and I did match with a Moroccan girl on a dating app like a year ago but that doesn’t mean they can’t be racist. Arabs look down brown people and Arab girls are usually stuck up.

O yea I know they are racist and use the slur “paki” alot. They say it with a racist undertone and i can really feel the hate there. Also I think stuck-upness increases with a girls attractiveness lol, doesn’t depend on her ethnicity.
But anyways I feel like the religious Arabs are a gem since they appreciate the religion, have good moral values, modest, etc., (At least the ones I went to school with). Those are traits you don’t find often in pakistanis. We practice Islam mostly because we are born Muslim and some parts of our culture (ie. Purdah) complement Islam.

Yeah i guess atttactive girls are generally more stuck up lol. I’ve had Arabs assume I’m arab cause of my name but there attitude would change a bit when i told them i was paki lol. A lot of the religous ones are friendly and always call you “brother” lol and i know this really chill Lebanese Christian guy but in general they look down on South Asians. I feel like Somali and Ethiopian Muslims are a lot nicer tho they aren’t arab.

Dude Arab culture predates Isis and wahabism, they have a rich heritage going back thousands of years especially outside the Arabian peninsula.

American borns (depending on the family) speak in Urdu fluently. There are some families that don’t speak in Urdu while living IN Pakistan so it really does depend on the family.
And yes, I agree…Arabs (the large majority) do have prejudices against darker skinned Muslims of Indian Pakistani descent. We are equivalent to Hindus for them…meaning we’re not real Muslims. But I think Indian Pakistani families have the same prejudices against African American Muslims as well.

Sure but there are more interracial marriages between pakistanis and whites than there ever will be with blacks. The overall prejudice still exists between us.

That’s only true for the men cause I’ve swen2 more paki girls with black guys than with white guys (more black muslims?), i think that’s a bigger indicator of racial acceptance cause most races have issues with women from their race marrying out and that doesn’t seem to be a problem in the paki community.

The discussion is about islam and sorry to say, it is mostly brain dead wahabbi. Culture is whatever you want it to be and it constantly evolves over time. You can’t say that Pakistan has the same culture as the indus valley civilization or heck even pre-partition india.

Well its actually not true for where I live and have lived. I know far tooooo many white men married to Pakistani girls and only one Pakistani married to a black man. Just one. Desi/white couples are becoming more common with time but desi/black is still not as common.

I doubt you have interacted with Arabs Cultural Arabs are very far from being parcticing Muslims. They love belly dancing, alcohol, dancing, etc.
