nia you can say that cuz you live in a state with a good pakistani community, and you were lucky enough to find someone you liked. Not everyones like that. The friends of mine who are having trouble finding guys never talkt o guys, never hang out with them, theres not that many healthy places where they can mingle.

There will always be jerks, there are alot in real life too that will never take anything seriously. I think you just have to be careful and research on your own. Secondly, theres alot of decent people on GS too.

I think GS is even better than shadi.com or naseeb because its more of an online community rather than “hey i wanna get married”

Ok, on a more serious note, I think I lot of people still hold a lot of stigma against doing it online.

Someone said GS is better than dedicated sites because GS is a community, but at the same time I feel that a rishta forum would end up consisting not of members seeking to get married, but instead members trying to hook up their family/friends who are not part of this community. In which case, they may as well use a dedicated matrimonial site.
