Husband has a good steady job with a good income. wife’s parents have money saved for her but is not working. now, i know husband is the sole provider but is it really that important that the wife works. what if the wife has difficulty in finding a job even though she is educated. hmmm…

Does the wife want to work?
Does the husband want to be her financial provider?
Can they agree on the roles each would be playing? If they don’t, they need to sit down and figure it out.

I personally think that it is best to not be dependent on anyone, especially when you ARE capable of taking care of yourself. If you’re refusing to do it when you’re capable, you’re just lazy. No sympathies from me. (Unless of course if there are other valid reasons.)

Difficulty in finding a job is temporary. It will go away with trying.
