Yes to me understanding diplomacy is the process of conducting activities with another with tact in order to bring about a good relationship…

If you call some one a diplomat ( specially in a desi circle ) …. He /she feels offended

sad thing ... i still cant tell .. i have to really get to know someone before i can tell about their personality ... i trust too much and when i dont i feel like im being paranoid .. i cant win either way.

There is no real use in trying to root out two-facedness in people. However, we should rely on Allah (SWT) for protection from such people and deal with everyone in an amicable manner. In addition we should realise that we are a mirror for our peers and they for us. We can easily slip in to two-facedness ourselves without realising it.
A man used to urge and call others to good, but then some noticed that his actions were hypocritical that he did not do what he himself used to say.
When this was presented to a scholar (name forgotten) the reply given was let him continue in his call for good, for may be in that he will take heed of his own advice. Take from him what is good and leave what is bad.
** That is how we should deal with everyone. Lest trying to view everyone with suspiscion may lead to us being the ones not trusted by others**.

what does it matter anyway to id them or not?..ur just gonna boil u r own blood..just dont be stupid and tell them all ur problems and secrets n make ur self vulnerable..thats it..nd if u really cant stand em then avoid them for long enough and htey will ge the point and wont come near u either..cause theyll feel sort of foffended that u want nothing to do with htem..baaaaaaaas..simple !...:)

Its much easier to spot a "two-face" person if your one.
