You already know all the answers to this conundrum. But you get kicks hearing it from others. That, or you secretly wish the answers were different.

Over the years, I have noticed a steady decline in women's "bemoaning" over how difficult it is for them and how easy it is for men (to get married)

Thats because modern women, once they step outside their homes..their countries, realize there is a 'world' beyond the small artificial arranged-marriage marketplace of the small country of ours. A world of complete contrast, whose 'attraction' dynamics are totally different.

A world where none of the beliefs, regarding what women need to be and what men don't, they were fed with growing up, hold true.

I’m just curious ladies, are you willing to get married just to anyone just to get married? As we are not taking advantage of a simple biological principal called NATURAL SELECTION, and instead jumping at any proposal, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS. You can be a guy in our culture, and just FIND someone.

Meanwhile, how many girls out there are well qualified, nice, good personalities, well educated, experienced in the world with a smart head on her shoulders, and she can’t find someone and ages, with the 30’s on her shoulder, and that’s basically IT - she has now decreased her chances substantially.

God, man, if my loser cousin can find someone, I’m not sure why any desi girl should ever have a problem, and yet that’s what happens in our culture.

Traditionally in our culture the girl needs an actual reason to say ‘no’ to a proposal..

If ‘he’s not my type’ was acceptable to the average girl’s parents things would even up pretty quickly..

Quite depressing when you think about it..
