There is a Greater Sovereign and Power beyond being created who creates and maintains everything.

Even a coat can't weave itself. How can the vast and complex creation, universe and everything in it have come about of its own accord and then maintains itself in perfect order?

There's somebody beyond being created and destroyed, somebody beyond our comprehension...

Sure it's as ilogical as saying God has no creator. If not why not? After all as you said yourself "I really don't see the logic in thinking that there's no creator".

Even if you bring evolution into the equation it STILL doesn't make sense without a creator...

IMHO atheists seem like people tying to delude themselves into thinking that life has no purpose... and you know what they say, if you repeat a lie enough times, even YOU start to believe it.

Why do you think that atheists are deluded? afterall they just believe in one less God than you. That would make theists atleast partially deluded.

Another thing. Once I was at a Mosque gathering, and someone said, "Deen akkal kee cheez nahi hain, nakkal kee cheez hain" and I completely disagreed with him. Everything in Islam is based in logic. You just have to find it. 1400 years ago Sahaba slept on their sides because they saw the prophet doing it. Only now are we starting to realize the immense health benefits. Anyway, so I bought up this issue with my Chachoo and Chachee and they said that Deen is "nakkal" and when you use "akkal" too much it leads to atheism. This indicates (to me) that she thought "akkal" cannot recognize a creator.

I disagree. I think if you use your akkal enough, you can recognize a creator. But if you use your akkal to a degree and stop wherever it suits you than obviously you'll find what you want to.

What you say is true but IMO unfortunately all the religions have transformed into rituals.

Actually a Donkey-worshippers (if there is any religion of this kind) are more “Aqal-Mand” then an atheist, as they stand on no grounds, may it be moral or logical.

I beg to differ, morality do not require the crutches of religion as religion requires the crutches of faith.

A Question to Atheists:

Don’t you think if (Allah forbid) all people of this world become atheists then it would give rise to more Hitlers and more Jenghiz Khans because there won’t be any fear of punishment and **hope for reward in **hereafter.

What will happen is debatable. But we know for sure when we have the majority of believers in God we have Pharoahs, Hitlers and Khans.

Most of the Chinese people I have met - have no religion.

It’s just the way they have been brought up. They do not even think it’s important. It plays no part in their life.

Yet they are smart, intelligent and act like any other God fearing person.

Which proves my earlier point that morality has nothing to do with religion.

No, on those who are trying to convince the other. So, those who care not either way have a right to demand proof…but those who insist there is no God, or even suggest that the notion is absurd have an equal burden to prove their contrarian point of view.

In a nutshell, anyone who makes a claim…be it for or against.

Now, what constitutes a proof?

Well in that case the burden of proof lies with the thread starter. Mr. thread starter please bring forth your physical proof for the existance of God.

The basic premise presumes that an omnipotent, eternal being requires a creator. If one supposes that such a being is absurd in the first place, then clearly the question falls into the realm of the absurd, and can’t be taken as a serious query.

Not only the question actually the whole idea is absurd.

This thread will go nowhere. Those who claim there is no God cannot disprove his existence and those who claim God exist cannot prove his existence beyond a certain level of comprehension. Its where your comprehension gets defeated that you must have faith. The smaller your circle of evidence remains the more liable you are to have atheistic views or even what we would call narrow minded pertinent to any discipline in life. The higher your view of things the more assumptions and unbelief you have of things. The deeper you get into it the more you comprehend and eventually it all leads to the existence of some creator. I think atheists try to figure out who created the creator, which honestly we have no answer or cannot comprehend. This is where the line gets drawn. Religionists put faith in it and say that there is a creator whereas atheists will not put faith in it until they can prove it. Some people die still trying to prove whereas some eventually realize they cannot and accept God. The more an atheist tries to disprove God I think brings him closer to the existence of God where those who do not try to prove it stay atheists (they never examine any other evidence other than what they are content with).

That where we stopped last time, if I remember right. LOL
