Nomi, you have no control over your government just like we living in US or UK have no control over the one world government policies. It shouldn't stop neither of us from doing what little good we can do for humanity.

Nomi's whole premise is based on equating taxes to bribes, which makes no sense.

Second, Pakistan takes foreign aid and thus, cannot tell foreign countries to F off. Stop taking aid and protect your sovereignty, pretty self explanatory. Unabashedly defending every custom and practice in Pakistan is not being patriotic, it's being blindly nationalistic.

i am not equating......i just mentioned if you are ok with the evil of your tax money being spent for wrong purposes.....but u pay it anyway.......

so evil of bribery shouldn't stop u from doing whatever 'little good' you are trying to do........

so since pakistan took money from americans, americans and british invaded iraq and afghanistan??..........how does that make any sense?

The taxes I pay go for good deeds my adopted country does. My logic is based on a lecture of a scholar whom I love to death.
He tells of his Sheikh who was Imam at Masjid owned by Govt. of Egypt. So Govt. of Egypt used to pay his salary. Someone said to him “You get your salary from government which gets revenue by granting licenses for alcohol.” He answered “my salary comes from the money government earns by running post offices”

Similar incident happened with Sir Syed Ahmed Khan. He got donation from some Tawaifs for building Aligarh Muslim University. Someone objected he replied " I will make toilets of this university with this money."
