How does an Agnostic know he's not going to hell?

Re: How does an Agnostic know he’s not going to hell?

There is no equivalent reciprocal response… Unless you really you live an illusion of over estimating yourself.. However I agree we must remain decent.. And however I agree that we must decent no matter how much we differ in our opinions..

Saeed,

There is a disconnect between subject and body of your post, you may consider changing one of them.

My reply to your subject is;

“How would a Muslim know if he is not going to Hell”

Re: How does an Agnostic know he’s not going to hell?

There were some mistakes in my original post, can’t change that because it’s older than 24 hours. I’ve highlighted the changes here.

And to Gora Kala, where’s the disconnect?

Who said equivocal?

it will definitely be better.

Re: How does an Agnostic know he’s not going to hell?

So let’s talk about the agnostics and their presumed destination to hell.

There is no clear guideline from which one can draw any conclusion what would be the destination of agnostics.

Most of the religions do clearly talk about those who are believers or non believers, but agnostics? Not really as far as I know.

One can correct me, but what I see agnostics as someone living in a state of limbo.

**They actually have not denied the presence of God or after life events.
**
And as long as they are living in the state of quest on genuine basis. They are fine.

Only problem is that the burden of not seeking enough could still be upon them if one or other religion is actually true and God is actually present.

As to the question which was posed in very immature and rude way placed by Yazdi, that how come some people are thekedar of someone’s destination, the polite answer is that, **if anyone claims to know what will definitely be the destination of anyone in after life then that person is wrong.

**The situation may change even until the last few moments of an agnostic’s life.
People just say things based on the knowledge from the scripture and in that regard they are not really wrong.

Because there is no proof that other alternative of not accepting the scripture is true either.

One thing is for sure anyone who says so and so is going to hell based on reference from scripture is NOT a thekedar of heaven or hell.

That person simply is passing the information which that person believes is true.

No need to bash those people. They just have different views than you.
