there are a few desi dishes that get called istoo.. where i come from, its a white gravied lamb and onion dish.

Family is from UP (small gaons called Kar’ra and Kur’rah, a little way from Allahabad).
We call is istoo as well. And iskool and aspataal - we’re desi - leave us alone!
