I’ve done it in so many different ways ..but I’ll show my favorite
This I was introduced by someone in Pakistan Army I guess. This is how they eat it in officers mess. The best thing about this is that skin now acts like a cup and you can use a small spoon to scoop the meat out and eat.
Ditto…but sometimes I will peel it and chunk it and eat it with a fork…ohhh heaven…mmmm.
Some Indian neighbours of ours gave us some Brazilian mangoes last week. They were chopped and had some masalas added to them…and they were soooo tasty…:D..not sweet n sour, but a completely different taste altogether.
oh yes I atsted those masala sprinkled mango slices. They do taste good only when the mango is little sour. if its sweet then you are better off eating it as it is

Actually, yes you are right.I do believe the mango was slightly unripe, but it did not taste kacha... IYKWIM.
So any idea what masalas were mixed?...

you can do sprinkle shan chat masala. Some south american mangos would never become fully sweet. A little sourness would always be there, so they dont need to be kachcha to be sour
how exactly do you cut the mango this way? i understand you would cut around the middle of it, but how do you detach one half from the other, without all the mango and juice getting mushed?
