I usually go for the style same as niksik’s, but sometimes i just make it soft and drink the pulp from the mango top 
Also, if i am in mood, i peel it, cut in chunks and enjoyyyyyyyyy

agar chonsa aam ho tou choos ke (baaz auqaat kafi badtameezi ke saath)
agar bada aam ho tou lambi kaashain ker ke aur zara tameez dikhani ho ya haath gandey karne ko na dil chaha raha ho tou aam ka chilka utaar ke usay cubes main kaat lete hain.

ohhh man i miss desi aam’s so much 
… they are so freaking expensive as well , we have to count and eat em, just miss going ballistic on mangoes …
I peel them, chop them , then mazai sai fork kai saat maza lai lai ki khaa’ing:yummy: … i just cant eat it with its peel on , gets too messy that way …

how exactly do you cut the mango this way? i understand you would cut around the middle of it, but how do you detach one half from the other, without all the mango and juice getting mushed?
u hold a part firmly and twist the other half gently to right and left, and it will come off.

mostly this way and u can also eat it with spoon ( the part which is upright in pic), especially when feeding mangoes to kids.

^ mango with paratha is AWESOME
you can either make chatni of aam and eat it with paratha or just normally driking the pulp and eating the paratha together.

oohhh my mom used to cut it that way when we were kids, lol soo much fun to eat :D
otherwise i cut it diagonal and then slice...

avocado doesnt have a hairy pit, mango does. i doubt mango halves'd just pop off like avocado halves.
They dont pop out, you have to wiggle it a little. I will post a personal video soon showing it how I do it

Well this is slightly OT, but I used a slightly ripe mango in a stir fry…it was great!

in other news, i sliced thru my finger yesterday in my eagerness to not let any drop of mango juice slide off the knife.
