No they certainly aren’t the chosen ones, some of them behave like they are headed to heaven no matter what so their actions don’t matter. In our culture a lot of parents put their kid in to hifz simply because then ‘the kid and his family will go to jannah’. I even know a hafiz who’s not really a hafiz anymore because by his own admission he has forgotten most of what he memorised, I certainly don’t think he’s the chosen one.
