Most of us…even the best among us…have been through this stupidity. The people who have given you advice (myself included) in your thread are not above such vulnerabilities, frailties, mistakes. The questions I posed to you in my post were the ones I have asked myself several times in similar situations. I know I certainly didn’t learn all my life lessons the first time. That said, don’t be so hard on yourself. The good thing is that you’ve realized there’s a problem and that it’s hurting you and that’s a start; it’s the first step.
