No, being that anal sex is haram to start with, I don't think that it counts as "losing your virginity" in my opinion. In order to lose one's virginity, one has to perform the sexual act in the way mankind has been practicing for centuries (penis in vagina).

Isn't this what Bill Clinton also argued? Not virginity, but how do you define "sex". I think its a very narrow definition.
And it all depends on in what context you are trying to define it. In terms of law or moral conduct of high respect.
From a moral stand point, even looking at someone with the intentions of sexual intercourse equates to having done so.

Faisal, I think that sex and losing one's virginity are kind of gray areas. Everyone describes differently what sex is and to what extent sexual acts can be termed as "sex" per se. However in my opinion, intercourse (penetration of vagina by penis) is a way one loses virginity.

Actually religious text of many great religions gives what I stated as a pre-text to insisting that everyone should have pure thoughts. It doesn't mean you can convict someone for the offense of adultry for his/her thoughts.

pk_taz, most boys that age go through some sort of homosexual experience. It doesn't mean you were ought to be gay. Have you ever fantasized about a girl or ever touched one? How do you know you are homo?. Maybe girls turn you ON more if you try. I am not trying to suggest you need some kind of cure but just wondering.
