^yea why ppl think if someones is seeking for some good advice hes backbiting.in backbiting u go to everyone u know n destroy someones repu by emphasizing on their faults only.while asking others for advice is to solve a prob n see others prospective too.without telling whole situation u cannot ask for others opinion.

now for those who say SIL is bad n stay away from her i think differently.SIL is ur way to find out wats being said behind ur back.coz sometimes u never know n u become a victim of rumor esp when u live so far away u still get a bad name within extended family. i always find having some spy in family beneficial as they keep telling u wat happening at ur back.this way u r informed n know how to act accordingly. ignorance is not always a blessing.

thats exactly why you should just ignore it!
Many women have to face MILs like this every single day of their life. Count your blessing that your MIL is living away from you and that too overseas.
