Whenever I came across with indians in London (2004-2005), I found their image of Pakistan as that of very very backward country! One day I was watching some pictures of Pakistan - raods and buildings in my office and my indian office colleague did not believe that they were from Pakistan.

We Pakistanis are directly descended from the aboriginal Indus people.
We are also descended from the Vedic Aryans (who gave us Sanskritic languages) who later settled in the Indus Valley and assimilated amongst the local aboriginals…
We have claim to both the Mohenjo-Harrappan and Vedic Civilisations because both settled in our land and we are descended from both.
Our ruins and our ancestors.. Except for a few NW-Indians bordering us the majority of Indians have no claim to our history and heritage, you were just identityless ppl who embraced the Aryan/Sanskritic languages and a adultered form (presentday Gangatised Hinduism) of the religion of our forefathers (Vedicism).
I agree that we have had some Semitic, Iranian and Turkic blood enhance our gene pool but that is very little and came later and these people who assimilated amongst the locals became of the land that they settled in so laying claim to Persian, Arab or Turkish heritage like some of my illiterate and ignorant fellow Pakis do on here is wannabe, stupid, unoriginal and shows their inferiority complex, we have just as great a heritage as our fellow Muslim brothers from other parts of the world.
Today we have similarites with you because we are both South-Asian nations and you copied our language and naturally other cultural exchange started happening when language became the same…
Hopefully something ggod will come out of the curriculum and they will do something good and awake the Pakistani nations and tell them their roots… By claiming pretend Arab/Persian roots and associating our history with Indian Hindus we are playing into Hindu hands who would love to steal our heritage… Don’t get me wrong I don’t propose doing fire sacrfices to Agni in school assemblies instead of praying “lab pe aati hai..”, I’m a Muslim through and through but knowing your history doesn’t mean you still practice the same faith, Arabs or Greeks are not Pagan anymore but that’s still their history…
We are not Vedantist anymore, but we’re still Indusian.. Ganga region is just wasteland without history or heriateg and so are its people…
