you need a program called ringtone converter, it basically converts the song format to that of ringtone .MMF or whatever.

but i don't think it matters though. It has more to do with ur phone than the provider. Do you have the datacable for it? i think u might need that...to transfer music from PC to cellphone

ok heres what i am trying to ask..
verizon people are just too smart and they want money for like every little thing...
my dad has a razr phone and on his phone..i can just 'record' something and then convert tht to a ringtone..
but with my phone..since its little more technology its a little more complicated..i cant just convert my songs into my ringtones..
i have a memory card for my phone..and i have songs on it..the problem is how do i change/convert my songs to ringtones..without paying
i am sure someone here must have figured it out

LG chocolate supports mp3 format, you can set then as your ringtone.
You can even download MMF format ringtones free off the net.

the quality...well it depends..on the song..and the volume..it might be a little kharab..but then again you are not paying anything extra for it..so it is OKAY

Aaana, you can use audacity (google it) which is FREE and you make the output of the volume really loud. This way when it rings it plays really loud even if your phones volume is limiting the sound. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Set Rate at 22kHz
Effect/Changed Speed: 102.00 %
Exported the Mp3 file with a Constant Variable Rate at 80 kbps.

^^Why are you stuck on ppl having Verizon? Everyone’s been giving you suggestions on how to get the ringtones in the proper format with the right settings and you’re asking them if they have Verizon.

verizon people block a lot of stuff on their phones..
and normally people with other services..like t-mobile..have it very easy..i dont want to download something which i wont be able to use...
