My engagement left like a joke for me, because I was toooooo much busy those days that I couldn’t find time to sit back and dream.Therefore I wasn’t in my senses to expect anything 
Now I regret that why did I miss that time by having such horribly busy schedule. My father has never been in the favor of celebrating mangnies so my engagement wasn’t actually celebrated on a grand level. My contribution was zero during the prep.
- I got my ring on the exact day of engagement.
- I wasn’t ask for help during the process of buying/choosing ring. My in-laws bought the ring for me. I had no idea what are they going to bring.
- My dress was also bought by my MIL.
- It was arranged at my home so hardly 10 to 15 people attended that occasion.
- I think I got married right after 4 months of this official commitment.
- It was a small family gathering. My sisters prepared the food for the guests at home. My friends did my photography :P. Our families didn’t exchange the rings on the same day. My family went with mithaee to my husband’s place the next day.
- I never considered myself engaged but many people already wished me before the actual event was happened.
