i agree with most of what you have said, but things like having sex over the webcams,net,calls and then indulging in adultery do not only happen between people who are both single. a lot of married people particularly married men are involved into this. a lot of them involved via the internet as that is the most easy and anonymous way. then you have married men going on international trips for work and going for one night stands or going to the massage parlors for those extras and so on and so forth. my point is that these men are married and have lawful way to address their needs still they indulge in wrong means. so your point that this problem is rising because we have so many unmarried girls and guys who find it difficult to guard themselves against it, is something doesn’t sit well with me.

Obviously there will be such cases but a good percentage will be satisfied from their spouses and once they get into other troubles of marriage they might not look outside, that’s my take. May be there are other ways, besides marriage, to bring the percentage down but I’m not aware of any.

The focus of the thread was *ornication, i.e. doing the actual act, that’s why I did not mention cyber, sexting and related stuff. Also based on the comments here it seems that the problem is not rising, it has already risen to somewhat alarming percentage.
