I am sure that lots of people on this thread would disagree with me and they would have a justification (based on their observation/experience), but my own mom and dad stayed in a rough relationship, only because of us kids. Today when I look back and think, I just develop more respect and gratitude for what they did, cause alhamdulliah - all us brother and sisters were raised just great.

My mom has a high school degree only, and dad was busy because he was a professor and journalist. None of them alone would be able to raise us. Thank god that they stayed together. and if for nothing else, at least for their kids, worked as a team.

All situations are different. Sometimes there’s too much mental abuse to keep the adults sane.
