Re: How come Imran Khan is so confused about economy?
teaser the issue is that imran is not in military so he cant take over, and he is not some khabees mullah so he cant run JUI and JI forever, he is not some spoilt daddy's girl to inherit a political party and a country as jahaiz. so what does he need,
he needs 2 things,
one area he has failed in which is really showing ppl what he wants to do, he has been against stuff but aside from a high level manifesto there is not much. Imran could have attracted sincere technocrats and experts in fields ranging from finance and health to education and infrastructure, but he did not which was sad, because PTI simply has not been able to become a viable choice. Imran yes, PTI no..because the paty as a whole just has not really done much..
anyways, just wanted to get that out of my system
and secondly, ppl in Pakistan will continue to support the same old corrupt leaders again and again and again. its amazing that Imran is the only new leader that the nation has seen in the last quarter century.. with the exception of murtuza bhutto, and we all know what happened to him.
That's all fine and dandy.
May be we should give him a break! A loooong break from politics.
He should instead focus on a couple of things that he does best: Cricket and hospitals.
Every decent man doesn't have to enter politics. Like I would hate to see Edhi enter politics. Edhi is great in collecting funds and honestly spending them on public good. Thus he has "specialized" in one area i.e. charity.
Why then we would drag Edhi form charity where he is the best to
politics where he may be a mediocre.
The same thing is true for Imran. He is at best a mediocre (as per your post and suggestions therein). He on the other hand was a legend in cricket, and one of the finest in building hospitals. Such people should not become controversial, as they need cooperation from every sphere of the global society.
In summary: Imran should say good bye to politics and do what he does best. He should at the minimum start and fully devote his time to a cricket academy. Or as an alternative, he should open Shaukat Khanum hospital II, III, IV, V,.....
He loves to talk and talk and talk about young people in Pakistan. The same young people don't need more Khutbas from a cricketer-turned-Mullah Imran. Our young people need skills to survive. And those skills could come from his academy, or medical schools (affiliated with SK hospitals).
