Of course PK was a pot boiler masala film with song dance cheap below the belt jokes at all. It was a commercial masala film. You’re again trying to pass your assumption that a masala film being a commercial success as an acceptance of hindu muslims marriage in india? Any stats to prove your assertion that majority of hindus have started marrying their daughters to Muslims and converting to Islam?

Commercial movie yes, but a pot boiler masala it was not. Beside the point in any case.

In Pakistan, hindu girls are kidnapped, forcibly converted and married to muslims. Yes, there is a lot of intolerance in India AND Pakistan. Who in their right mind would deny that? Yet, an Indian movie which portrayed marriage between an Indian hindu girl and a muslim pakistani guy became a commercial and critical success in India. Which shows that Indians/hindu majority in India are receptive to the idea of Pakistanis being shown as normal decent human beings, worthy of Indians marrying their daughters to them.
