How important is to you ladies how a man is dressed? To me guys like john abraham, arjun rampal, dino morea would still look better in 5 dollar t-shirt than guys like srk in 1000 clothes. if you are srk fan, don’t take it personally :slight_smile: it’s just 1 ex. if you were to get a rishta, how much attention would you pay to his clothes? share your thoughts why is it important to you?

He should be looking decent atleast.
I think clothes show quite a lot of someones personality, which is why its important upto a certain level.

Lot of guys wear formal clothes when meeting a rishta. Dont do that! u can wear a lil formal clothes, but dont go there looking like ur going to the office... such a no no! But on the other hand, might not judge him the first time since most guys wear formals in thsi situation pfff...

Totally agree OP.. I would take Dino Morea in jeans (or bin liner :D) over SRK suited and booted any day..

A lot of attraction is actually attributed to your perception of how well groomed the other person is. Even in the workplace, details matter. Your shirt should be pressed, shoes polished, suit tailored. It shows that you actually give a damn and pay attention. Obviously there's a time and place for everything (sweats at home), but in general, it's not how expensive something is, it's how well it fits you.

How much people pay attention to your grooming varies, but why take a chance? And you'll feel good about yourself too.

shah rukh khan has this charm though where he can get any woman just by looking and talking with her...also the fact that he's still so in love with his wife and obviously he treats her very well or else she would have divorced him long back and taken half his money with her. his charm doesn't go beyond any limits especially the way he is with other women.

damn and i'm not even a srk fan, don't watch hindi movies much but as handsome and well dressed as the arjun rampals, dino moreas, and the mimbo(sorry john abraham fans....yes he's hotness in terms of looks) but there are some men as plain looking as they are,there's this way they look at a woman and the way they handle themselves, that natural charm that they have, that respect they give women that attention..............

wooooh i would fall for an srk as unconventional as his looks are and even if he's wearing a plain t-shirt and jeans.

^^rolls eyes i was talking about men that have that extra something that takes a woman's attention away from how plain his looks are and how plain his clothes are. obviously a man that is a srk type that doesn't shower for days is just icky no matter how charming he might be.

i never said i was a bollywood men fan in that post, i was talking about men that have similar personalities to these "bollywood men"....hello!! obviously a smartly dressed, charming man(unconventional looks) is major plus

yes it matters. an ungroomed man who dresses like trash is unattractive.

When i was in highschool and when i was in college for bit after that. I didn't care about dressing up but lately i tend to dress up whether be at work or elsewhere. So yes i do think dressing is very important.

well, if we take the bollywood out of this, yea the way a person dresses matters. but, it doesn’t necessarily have to be designer. just a neat, proper, presentable look is good.

Yes it matters. To me for every formal visit, clothing matters ...

I don't like un-groomed dirty dressed up men .. i mean those with jeans dragging in their feet, torn places, starting below the waist, unpressed shirts, ... just a mess up of clothes. no no!

idk. i have always thought men look the same. I dont think they shud put too much effort in dressing and when they do,they start appearing girly to me.

its imp to me becasue i dont want to marry any dude who has prettier kapray than i do.that wud be too much competition to handle for me.

Lol no need to get upset. I just found it funny how much your post concentrated on Bollywood men.

There's a difference between Sean Connery (well groomed) and Justin Bieber (fruit cake). That's all people are saying.

Yes, if somebody was really oddly dressed it would be an immense turn off for me however that doesnt mean i will only get married to someone who is exceptional in dressing :bummer:. These things you can work on but there are other, more imp issues that are to be considered in a rishta.

Let's bring some reality to this thread.

2 guys, similar in level of attractiveness, one is well groomed and well dressed and dressed appropriately for the situation, other is unkempt and poorly dressed or dressed improperly for the situation.

Now what?
