BAsically my house is due to b reposesses by the bank, im going absolutely out of my mind, i suppose i saw it cuming:( i m becuming so ill and think im sliding in 2 depression i feel so angry as well, i think ive discussed this in a religion thread 2, i feel so angry with god, my mum hasnt left a single dua or wazeefa unsaid, to save this house any suggestions on how i can stop my self from jumping off a bridge or goin absolutely mad
We havent told any of oure friends or family yet, though theyll soon find out bcos we need to pack up and leave it 2 weeks, plus i have younger borthers and sisters and theyre so young we dnt even knw wht to say to them why we;re leaving our goregous house, i suppose writing this on GS bcos i cant say it to any1 else, ive tried to b strong 4 my family and everything, and trued to keep great faith in allah, but its totally breaking!!!

Im so sorry to hear about your predicament.:( I cant imagine how hard it must be for you and your family to go through all of this. I had read briefly that you had back surgery. How did you get hurt?
Also have you talked to a lawyer about your options like working with a bill consolidating company etc.I know in USA if someone cannot affrd a lawyer there r several organizations that refer to lawyers that are willing to work pro bono.
Material things 'to hath ki dhool hai, kabbi atti han cabe jati hain" - ek chhz jate hain to use ache ati hain" the first 6 months will be tough, some matlabi people will change their attitude towards you, good riddence to them; atlest you'll know the good ones who are true to you.
However, if it bothers you too much - just move on to a new city. Tell your brothers & sisters the truth. Do not think you are the only one - there are thousands like you every year. Some loose their shares, some gamble, some drink, some divorce, some become sick, some get cheated etc etc.
Never think of ending your life, your sisters & brothers need you and love you.
Are you in the USA? If you are, look up a bankruptcy lawyer first thing!!! You DO NOT have to lose your house if you declare bankruptcy! There are ways to work things out! Please do this ASAP!!!

we bought teh house on cash payment, so its not that we bought a house we cudnt afford, my dad took a loan on the house 4 his business, since he needed 4 that pint in time, but was gonna py ait back asaP as the paytments 4rm customers came in, but all of a sudden sumthing happened t o teh business,so we cudnt pay teh rates for the house
My dad has ben declared bankrupt, but the bans r wanting teh house, weve been through the courts and everythung, but a decree has been granted giving us 2 weeks notice to leave :( :(
I don't know about the U.S but in the UK, the only way to save the house after an order has been made by the court would be by working with the bank. Making some payment to them now and reaching an agreement with them regarding the balance.
If you do lose a house in the uk then you should be able to get accomodation from the local authority...or paid by the local authority as part of the safety net in the UK.

yeah i live in the Uk weve tried working with teh banks but have had no luck :(
Stay online, i may have some info that can come to your rescue, well atleast help you. I know someone who was in your position and took some steps and thankfully her house was not repossessed.
BTW, what are your parents, your father especially doing to help you?

Thanks 4 the links orpheus much appreciated, i asked my dad about them, and he said he has tried everything, the bank is not willing to cum to any deal whtsoever, so anything we do will be in vain

Have you tried going to the citizens advice bureau - they have lawyers working as volunteers and are able to provide sound advice regarding every matter?
I feel so angry at those nasty maggots at your bank, no bloody compromising at all!...may Allah deal with them for putting people like you in such trauma!.. You need to follow the advice everyones giving you, if god forbid nothing works out, then sell the house privately asap!...because the bank will put your house at auction and won't give a damn how much they will get out of it as long as their payment is up their a**!. It's best you sell it with a decent price so you have couple of thousands left over as opposed to the bank giving you nothing.
