BAsically my house is due to b reposesses by the bank, im going absolutely out of my mind, i suppose i saw it cuming:( i m becuming so ill and think im sliding in 2 depression :( i feel so angry as well, i think ive discussed this in a religion thread 2, i feel so angry with god, my mum hasnt left a single dua or wazeefa unsaid, to save this house :( :( any suggestions on how i can stop my self from jumping off a bridge or goin absolutely mad :( :(
We havent told any of oure friends or family yet, though theyll soon find out bcos we need to pack up and leave it 2 weeks, plus i have younger borthers and sisters and theyre so young we dnt even knw wht to say to them why we;re leaving our goregous house, i suppose writing this on GS bcos i cant say it to any1 else, ive tried to b strong 4 my family and everything, and trued to keep great faith in allah, but its totally breaking!!!!!!

If you try to save whose loss is inevitable, you will just be frustrated.
I think the reason the bank may be unwilling to work with your dad is because he has been declared bankrupt. This means that in addition to the owing money to the bank he also owes money to other creditors. Banks cannot work with a bankrupt person. It would have been wise to seek advice at an earlier stage. The only way out I can think of is for someone else within the family to buy out the house at the market price. Buying it at cost price or the price of the loan may not be an option as other creditors would want their share after the bank has been paid off.
isnt this what happend in the US? Banks lending money for houses to people who couldnt afford to pay it back!
Can you not speak to one of those shops that are run by asian people..They normally remortgage your house!....

You know they say after every difficulty there is ease (x2 according to Surah Ansharah), So Insha-Allah you're set for a lot of ease after this difficulty.
I dont know how is your situation exactly but in UK you can stop the reposession if you have young child at home, very ill, or you back on your job and can afford to repay the arreers in future in agreeable or even if you have serious buyer offer. you can get an appointment from judge and act fast he can stop the order or suspend for few months if it helps. or sometime judge will allow you to stay in the property until its sold by the lender.
talk to citizen advise bereau.
if you have still equity in your home you can sell your home before the eviction date and repay. because if you sell your house yourself, it will be rather better off. Lender cant stop sale of your house. its your house you can sell it.
all this scenario if thats is not being done as a result of bank coruptcy. cause in that case house become asset for lendors and will be sold.
if thats the case you still can ask judge to allow you to stay in the house until its sold, so you will get the time to look for other alternatives.

Wht makes it so painful is that we spent our savings to make our house, but during a crisis we had to get a loan 4 the business it all became a big mess and weve lost our dream house

i’ve heard it said that Allah never gives us trials we cannot endure- so be strong, pray as much as you can, and keep the faith! IA it will work out for the best. for what its worth, this website is really good- www.sunnipath.com- i find there are lots of prayers and advice on here for how to deal with difficult situations. the one thing i’m learning is there are so many prayers for people in difficulty, and for people generally, we just need to be aware of those and pray those, and reach out to God in times like these.
Remember tweety, if you remember Allah in good times, He'll remember you in bad. This is your time to get closer to Allah and be patient and count on Him. As the person above (^) said, Allah does not give us more than we can bear so have faith in Him. You are just losing your house, Prophet (S.A.W) lost his city for many years and Allah was always on His side. Allah will put you through test so seek His help in whatever you do. Everything will be alright insha'Allah :)

I am glad u said that above...cuz allah likes to test people in the ways you least expect it. No matter what happen..please never loose faith in allah..hes the supreme and all mighty and without his permission nothing happens. Just hang in there n sit tight cuz help is on the way from the places you least expect it
