For our family weddings, we tend to put up plain white/silver lights on outside of house and then decorate the inside with lots of candles, petals and bit of balloons - no crepe paper or tacky tinsel!

id do lots of lights, flowers, nice curtains for background like gold color...i did red, green and gold colored candles. hire a professional they have lots of ideas...where do u live?

ooooohhh for the inside my cousin in the uk got these amazing flower things made for the stairs....it looked so pretty....and then it was the obvious stull like some crepe-paper decorations and yes...some tinsel too hahaha but it wasnt tacky...it was pretty :p

The “kum kumas” have been illuminating houses for very long so people walking from far can say ” oye, aithay koi shadi horee hei?”. :slight_smile:

My wedding was arranged by Best Event Management Company in Delhi, Gurgaon & NOIDA, In2Events The house decoration was also done by them :slight_smile: They decorated the house so well :slight_smile: You can contact them they will give you better ideas :slight_smile:
