oh alright got it now :)
Re: Hotels that you stayed in
I really liked the Marriot sumthin in Washington DC....but they charge you for every little extra thing. Valet parking was a must @25 a night. Honestly speaking I like Clarion/Comfort Inn hotels. Usually they are pretty clean standard hotel rooms, some decent suites and they all offer an extensive breakfast and always free parking on premises. Not bad since usually all u need to do is sleep.
Re: Hotels that you stayed in
I love hotels with grand lobby. Insise room is same for each hotel. I agree with Afro aboyt parking though, specially parking in big cities
One of the worst is Philly downtown. We stayed in Lowes, couple of time, beautiful hotel, but parking is expensive and it sucks
Hotels get boring fast, except for that one I stayed at after shaadi.
Re: Hotels that you stayed in
Nahin yaar, some hotels, if you spend enough time inside them (not in your room, but other parts of hotel) some of them are really relaxing
My favorite hotel, well it was more of a B&B, was in Bath, England. It's called the Oldsfield Hotel, it's an old manor house gutted and rebuilt from the inside, they've kept the old world charm with huge fireplaces but they've updated the cabling and plumbing, what a beautiful experience. It is in the hills of Bath so you have a beautiful view of the ancient city. 10 minute walk into town, absolutely GORGEOUS!
Re: Hotels that you stayed in
a few in my time, but the one that i really enjoyed my stay in was Hotel d'Angleterre, in Geneva.
Re: Hotels that you stayed in
I looooooooooove hotels! No wonder I work for one ![]()
My family and my inlaws stayed at the New York Marquis a few months ago and that hotel was STUNNING! Not only it’s right in the middle of Times Square, the interior is gorgeous also.
My list has more Miami hotels because I used to visit there so much and didn’t want to stay with the inlaws ![]()
Hyatt at Key Biscayne (Miami) has to be the worst one I have ever stayed at. The room was SPACIOUS though, bigger than any hotel room I have ever seen with a humongous bed, a nice balcony and gorgeous bay view but the beds were so uncomfy and the carpet was always so… moist.. ew. Maybe cuz it was right across from the water but the FD clerk was nice enough to waive my room service charges because I was so unhappy.
Then there was the South Beach Ritz Carlton- again, beautifullll hotel!
My father in law works for Biltmore hotel in Miami so went to see it a couple of weeks ago and I loved it! It’s like a castle with big lush green tennis courts and golf courses. It has such an old royal look to it.
And Raheel has also promised to take me to Burj Al Arab, he better fulfil it ![]()
Re: Hotels that you stayed in
We got a chance to stay in a resort hotel in Penslynvania, once. I think its called 7 springs, off PA turnpike.
I just love those log cabin style rooms and service. It was only 2 story high long streched building, beautiful relaxing view from balcony, lots of family activities to do around.
One way of me judging the quality of hotel other than the price off course, is if the room has His&Her bath robes available in it :D
