Khawateen: I am sure there are few hostels in sadar… but the area is not that good.. u know what i mean.. I am not sure about Nazimabad.. I will check if i can find something

There's an Embassy Inn and Faran Hotel at Nursery, Shahra-e-Faisal. Some good one are also on Tariq Road.

Hotel sarawan in saddar, i see it whenever i go to saddar, but dont know how it is, days inn, hotel faran, embassy hotel (like someone mentioned) yes..all on shahra-e-faisal. Theres also a hilltop hotel on Razi road....Plus there are a lottt of shady one star and minus one star hotels on saddar....you can find anything...

is metropole still around? but if u are going to stay in metropole why not just go a few blocks down and stay at avari or pearl continental

nope metropole is no more...we've heard of all sorts of plans for it....a mall, a business complex.....and the village is no more there as well..the one right next to Metropole

what sort of budget are you lookig for? And is it a few guys or just one that needs a place? Why particulalry Saddar/Nazimabad? Because it’s really no issue moving around; lots of transport available and distances arent too much, its just the traffic that blows one’s wits away 
nooree’s post # 12 mentions a few good medium budget ones.
Hotel Sarawan is an old and quite a fine one right behind Zainab Market.
Hotel Faran, Days Inn and Embassy on Shara-e-Faisal are more convenient location wise being on the city’s main artery; they’re much more clean with respect to the environment around them, and the crowd/ativity there is also safe compared to some location in Saddar/Nazimabad downtown.
I’m not sure of any place in Nazimabad but could find out. There are quite a few in main Saddar near Bohri Bazaar, lots of foreign tourists stay there too, they’re not great but ok places for a medium budget. Low budget places are available near Cantt Stattion; lots.
To be safe and sure, among these above mentioned I’d reccomend Sarwan, Faran, Embassy, Days Inn for families/women too. The ones in Saddar are probably better for guys, even a guy alone. The one’s near railway station are probably reccomended for a group of guys only, no family, no women, and no lone man. Same goes for a few found on University road where inter-city buses park.

Hotels in PECHS are far better than the ones in the Saddar area! And there are illegal activities too!
