Wow this is a tough one. If he is unstable then heshould notget married until he is...I am assuming the instability is beyond normal moodiness and personality quirks.
As to what to do, I guess he will havetogst creative. Nowif he was Shia he could go for a muttah, and for Sunni folks there is misyar aka miss-yaar too, but I guess jury is out on these practices .

It is a serious issue because hormonal guys get married all the time rushing into things and then cannot be good husbands. Also found best friend's ex looking for a wife - he has a history of abuse which he is conveniently hiding. It's a legit question. As for the question I don't think people who are emotionally or otherwise not really for a marriage themselves think that they are not ready. In their head they think that they are ready for commitment and the responsibilities that comes with a marriage. I don't think many people knowingly marry someone if they know they are gonna end up ruining a life. I think most of the time its the immaturity that they themselves don't know that they are ready. Also, some people think that they can change and become more responsible and grow with the relationship which sometimes is true.
