Re: Honeymoon in Maldives

Re: Honeymoon in Maldives
Good, I had not more than 2 weeks exclusively for honeymoon outside the Pakistan. Because I had northern area tour as well, Some random invitations from realitives too...though, we both live too far away within Pakistan as well...so sometime for domestic travelling as well...
Re: Honeymoon in Maldives

Re: Honeymoon in Maldives
What time of the year are you going Maldives? I've been twice. Once to Kuramathi on an all inclusive package which was fantastic and once to W Resort on a b&b basis.
Maldives is an amazing honeymoon/holiday destination. I went to Kuramathi in October and although we did have monsoon rain everyday, it lasted barely 15 minutes and helped to cool down the heat!
I much preferred Kuramathi which was a large island resort rather than W Resort which was very small. Kuramathi had the option of retreating into your villa for privacy or joining in with the fun at the many bars/restaurants scattered around the resort. I found that because I had already visited Maldives when I went to W Resort, I got bored quickly because the scenery was not new to me and that was about all the do there.
To be honest if your going to Maldives for the first time you will probably love W Resort. It is without a doubt a fantastic place to go but my personal preference is just a larger island!
There are alot of crabs in the Maldives which I HATE so we didnt stay in the water bungalows because they tend to climb up the stilts and give you a nasty surprise!
Depends where your flying from. When we lived in London it cost us 2500 pounds for a 1 week all inclusive package to Kuramathi but when we moved to Dubai it cost us over 5000 pounds to go to W Resort- but W resort is a 5 star resort so thats also why!
Goodluck!

I am in Saudi Arabia, but would marry in Pakistan. So I would manage my tour from Pakistan for 1 week to Maldives. I have never been to Maldives before. So I don;t have much idea, However I hate the idea of nasty surprises...In that case I would prefer some hotel next to Beach...Any prefered hotels? sorry to ask childish question because I have no idea about this place....
Re: Honeymoon in Maldives
Taurian your best friend is tripadvisor. Go onto www.expedia.com and get yourself a holiday quote from pakistan to maldives including hotel just for an idea because this will give you lots of resorts to look at and give you an idea of prices.
Then just google the resorts and also type 'trip advisor' at the end. This will give you a webpage that has lots of reviews, photos and videos of peoples experience at that particular resort!
Once you have narrowed it down to a few resorts you can go to your local holiday provider in Pakistan and get it all booked!
Re: Honeymoon in Maldives
thats good, u made things more organized for me..let me google them out...thanks dear
