They did. She was encouraged to fight out battles earlier just after she got married and started all the drama. She promised her to-be husband that she would move to Pakistan after the marriage. Then she created huge drama out of each and every little thing that 'happened to her' so that she could turn back from her promise. GS people did encourage her listening to her one-sided stories.

It is only after a few years that people are realizing what's been going on. Still people spend a lot of time and effort trying to 'advise' her knowing quite well that she just comes here to get some validation of her actions.
