QUOTE]

That's not true, I've had people from various parts of Pakistan tell me certain other areas have a 'homosexual problem,' it is never their own area they mention.

Fact is, homosexuality is rife in Pakistan, in all areas. From what I've been told it's the same thing in India.

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

sweet_taboo, we all know that you are attracted to males. Please don't bring this disease to Guspshup.

Also, you can control your feelings. Only cowards have the pathetic excuse of uncontrollable "feelings".

Others can refer to my signature.

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

dumbass its "giggidy giggidy"

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

It can also be said that only a dolt uses the pathetic example of equating homosexuality with a disease to fit their religious pov, insecurities, intolerance or lack of knowledge.

Here's another quote for you:

"A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illiuson is deep." Saul Bellow

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

Only use quotes when they are directly related to the subject at hand like I did.

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

Oh, so now you are in charge of how to use quotes? What other powers do you want to display for us? And how exactly is your signature directly related to every thread in which your post? What's wrong do you have Quote disease?

BTW, my quote was very much relevant. Try reading it again.

Now here is another that is relevant on several levels:
“A man who does not think for himself does not think at all.” - Oscar Wilde

  1. Because I don't think you know much about homosexuality and you just parrot what hear
  2. It indicates how using other peoples' words to make your point doesn't imply any wisdom from you *]Cuz it is from a homosexual author.

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

No I can't control my feelings.

Maybe you misunderstood my post, by ‘feeling’ I didn’t mean deliberately fantasizing, that can be controlled.

When I say feelings I mean in the same way as you feel towards women, or straight women feel towards men. I'm attracted to good-looking males as much as you are attracted to good-looking females. Do you consciously induce horniness when you see an attractive woman? Well then! Why do you lower your gaze when you see a Na-Mahram woman? Because she turns you on right? I feel the same when looking at good-looking guys.

I don't know whether my feelings are psychological or hormonal but I can’t help them that’s for sure, I was about 8-9 when I realised I liked other males as well, I’d fantasize about my friends’ older 16-18 yr old brother because he had the nicest muscles and the most amazing dark brown skin.

Not for a moment am I suggesting it's acceptable for men to have sex with each other just because they’re attracted to each other, we’re not animals that we act upon any desire that crosses our heart that's why we have religion to help us discern right from wrong, some people would say they are inclined towards incest or bestiality but it doesn’t mean those practices should be acceptable. I believe we should control our feelings, I take it as a test from Allaah Azza Wa Jal, I believe I should struggle against my nafs for His sake.

I might do window shopping and flirt with guys who I know are that way but I know my limits, I know even that's un-Kosher but I hope Allaah forgives me.

Re: Homosexuality in Pakistan

^ Well since you seem to put homosexuality on par with bestiality and incest, what would you think about someone window shops and flirt with animals or siblings who are that way? (People usually throw polygamy in there, but I suppose with your religious beliefs you will let that one be.)

Seriously, comparing those acts to homosexuality is immeasurably offensive to true homosexuals. Not the type that just like to flirt and lust after men, but those who have accepted their God-given orientation and strive for monogamous, respectful relationships. To place committed same sex couples on par with any of these does nothing but expose someone's archaic understanding of homosexuality and relationships. A gay relationship has nothing to do with mother and son and they certainly aren't animals. And they don't have to be promiscuous or have multiple partners. Doe we expect to be judged or our prophets judged by a monogamous homosexual for having sex with mulitple partners?
