Re: home remedy for nausea?
OP I have heard from other ppl and experienced it myself, generally everyone has something they can eat or drink that makes the nausea subside, u just have to try diff things and find out what it is. The diff things that ppl have told me were, crackers, dried aalu bukharas, Laban (yogurt milk mixture, like lassi), kachchi lassi (pour like 10-20 ml milk, and fill the rest of the glass with water). For me it was dry cereal, I can’t remember the name but it was a Kellogg’s multiple grain “healthy” cereal, and it worked like magic. I had it on my coffee table at all times and as soon as I felt an inkling of nausea I’d pop a handful and it would just disappear. And I never thought of trying different stuff until my sil suggested I try stuff because something or the other will work (I had assumed that I had to live with it because this was how it would be). So I tried a bunch of stuff and this worked.
(p.s lassi for fair skinned and less body hair baby if u can stomach it, tried and tested by multiple ppl i know, where other siblings were spitting images except for skin color and body hair)

Re: home remedy for nausea?
just an update. my dr agreed to give me diclegis and so far it has been a miracle drug. also since its category A drug, its supposedly safer than zofran which is category B. thanks for recommending it, my dr didn’t know much about it initially but he looked it up after i mentioned it to him and was impressed. i think its more popular in canada than US.
Re: home remedy for nausea?
yayy glad that helped you. ![]()
in fact Dicleis was discontinued in the 80s for some odd reasons but it came back to the market with this name in April 2013. I didn’t have the “luxury” of taking Diclegis in 2011 with my first pregnancy but my doc prescribed this to me during my second pregnancy in 2013 when I couldn’t stop throwing up at only 6 weejs of pregnancy.. it was a bit expensive than Zofran but totally worth it.
It does make you sleepy so try taking at night time ![]()
