Re: Need sum help or tips on Beauty matters?
Hiya,
I think if your asking about best hair-removal methods for upper lip, i would say definetly threading - not waxing. Because long-term waxing doesnt do any favours to your skin. It stretched the skin and skin begins to lose elasticity over the years. Waxing is excellent for body-hair, i.e. legs, as skin is more taut- whereas skin on the face is very delicate and sensitive so loses elasticity very quickly.
I would recommend threading only for upper lip and eyebrows/shaping and maybe a bleach for any other facial hair. What you can do to releive the pain of threading is try using some talcum powder first - but make sure your skin is cleansed first. Some people swear by moisturiser but i wouldt recommend using that before threading because it would sink into the open pores.
Also, try not to get paranoid and get into bad habit of removing facial hair prematurely. Give the hair time to grow, i would say at least 4-7 days for upper lip before you remove further hair, otherwise it can damage your skin if you start gettin in bad habit of threading every other day, and also itwill most likely result in 'ingrowing hair'.
Another thing, steer away from shaving and hair-removal creams, these are the two worst hair-removal techniques for facial hair.
Hope that helps.
