Home Alone

Dear Ladies, do you stay okay when your husband has to stay out for a night or so?

My problem is that I get really really scared whenever he’s out for a night or so due to his job or so. I’m scared of dark so I can’t go to sleep without him being around. And in the morning I become sick coz of not having a good sleep. Sometimes I miss my parents and give a good cry. I know I’m not a child but I can’t overcome my fear. I’m gonna read ayat ul kursi.

Re: Home Alone

I can't take care of a dog....we've got 3 goldfish and 2 hamsters already and also 3 kids.

Re: Home Alone

Re: Home Alone

They're all under 7 and they're asleep. This is quite a serious issue for me. I can't cope. I can't tell myself that I'm a grown up who's not afraid of ghosts and jinn anymore.

Re: Home Alone

hmmm, it sounds pretty serious. One thing you can do is to change your routine and be up all night and sleep during the day. Instead of trying to curl in your bed, try to be active, watch some TV, cook something. You may not be able to catch your 8 hours of sleep during day but if its a matter of one or two days, I am sure that you can take few naps.

Re: Home Alone

trust me scary movies help u to get rid of this fear ...

Re: Home Alone

TLK, yeah he just goes out for like once a month but even that is quite depressing for me. I can't go to sleep so I do watch movies internet etc and if I go to sleep then I always get this dream in which I'm shutting up all the doors and windows and checking the locks. Those dreams are like a torture for me so I guess I'm gonna try not to sleep tonight. I was wondering if other women face similar situations, what about Niksik?

Kam

No, I can't watch scary movies, too risky.

Re: Home Alone

I don’t get scared but I get very depressed…I mean he could be here and busy reading his Popular Science and not be talking to me all evening (:naak:) but I know he’s there and if I feel like poking him, he’d be there to make a silly face, but when he’s gone, I feel lonely :naak:!

Re: Home Alone

Re: Home Alone

eeeeeek. i know the feeling.

I hated being alone. It' just a weird depressing feeling. And it certainly does add stress and ruin your routine and sets back your goals.
