I keep on hearing from Pakistan cricket fraternity… that we have no home advantage and blah blah
really?
let stop portraying “no home advantage” as an excuse of our bad policies, lack of bench and pathetic execution .
UAE is our new home and we can and do make wickets that suit our agenda. These players are playing on those grounds of dubai/abu dhabi for 5 years. THESE GROUNDS ARE OUR HOME GROUNDS. Strategize/plan/execute around this reality. Stop making excuses.
You made spin tracks in UAE and destroyed england 3-0. that is called home advantage. lol…what esle do you want as home advantage?
It is not like we have to play in Australia or England all the time. UAE tracks are very similar to lahore/karachi tracks. If you want to unleash new players, please do so on these tracks. They will not be playing in alien conditions. Stop using this an excuse of your pathetic bench and lack of talent.
I get that players get a bit more homesick but hey, we are only at a 2 hr flight from lahore/karachi.
Some parts of the post I agree. However playing in a packed stadium in Lahore or Karachi is very different to playing in Dubai. Those are the grounds our players have played on domestically, know the pitches, conditions inside out. Our 'A' team gets vital experience whenever a visiting team comes, infront of the home crowd.
For me a packed Dubai stadium looks utterly boring as compared to a full house in Lahore or Karachi. I am sure the players know it too.

yes fair point...a packed stadium in lahore would be awesome form motivational standpoint but i was just reflecting on PCB and our players attitude that we have no home advantage whatsoever....that is not true either. Like i said before, Pak is not playing its home games on perth , lords or Durban either
I think all what PCB should try at this moment is get the ball rolling. That is, get the teams involved and play with them either in UAE, or visit them. For example, the current idle stretch that i think goes till October is literally killing them. Either its due to their incompetence or inside politics that they fail to even regulate the domestic games going. Look at the standard of IPL and the amount of exposure indian players have got. Understood it cant be as higher as they do but atleast something to offer.
You can only convince other teams for anything only if you are a part of the picture. If you arent , just forget about it.

yep...PCB is so incompetent and now it has found this new excuse of "no home advantage" to mask its utter incompetence. I read some press reports that for SA series PCB was not even showing enough interest in making pitches that would suit Pakistan......and then blame "no home advantage" for everything.
Players shd also understand that no home advantage will not be a viable excuse.
oh bhai tumhara ek hi rona rehta hay har waqt, tumhari posts dekh ke aisaa lagta hay ke Pakistan ab dooba ke jab dooba, Pakistan se ghatiya koi jaga hi nahee hay. IK se ziyada tum ne rona machaya howa hay (from different angle) “mulk ka bera gharq kar ke rakh diya hay”.
Every now and then you make noise “there is no bench strength” and you have to be proved wrong, then you stay quiet for some time, then again you get the itch again… rinse and repeat.
