Home advantaage?

Re: Home advantaage?

Peace dear
Have you ever played Club or Muhalla Cricket ? When we played in our home ground, our players performed very well with no pressure but on opponents ground, faced bit pressure, I am telling you my experience but may be you were far better player and were performed well in every condition. So, same case is here, our players like other players come here to play a Test or ODI series only. They play domestic cricket only in Stadiums of Pakistan and very much familiar with conditions.

I can guarantee you even if AUS visit Pakistan, our players can perform very well against them. You can check AUS track record in Pakistan so they always avoided to visit Pakistan. Do you also know that we lost the series against Aus 3-0 in UAE. In our history we have never lost a home series with this margin.

Do you know how many times Pakistani team have scored less then 100 in a Test Inning at HOME ? Only once
and in UAE 4 times against AUS, Eng, SA.... So you can't say UAE is our Home Ground and even on Cricinfo or in record books they say its Neutral Venue, so, you can't change this definition with your philosophy.

PCB policies and politics is an on going discussion in other words "Yah Ronna To Sada ka Ronna hay" :D

Re: Home advantaage?

Mr. Southie, have you read the whole thread ? please have some drink :D

Re: Home advantaage?

Yes I did.

Re: Home advantaage?

Got it :hehe:

Re: Home advantaage?

Agree with post 21 by what's his name.

Personally I could not do well when father would be watching. Going to an opponents ground totally took pressure off. But that's at my level. At Test level I guess fan support, home atmosphere, home cooking, having family around etc help a lot. And probably pitch preparation too.

Re: Home advantaage?

yea its me thanichu :D
But in presence of my family members / neighbors watching me, I performed very well. Even when bowler bowled on my favorite place they shout Six and yea its Six :D
You know "apnay munh mian mithu" ?

Re: Home advantaage?

Thanichu - interesting name.

My Prof. would always forget people's names. So his conversation would go like this - what's his name stopped by. He wanted to know blah blah blah....

I never hit a six in my life.

Have heard the phrase. Don't know what it means. Does it mean a person thinks his face looks good no matter how ugly?

Re: Home advantaage?

Its in Malayalam and meaning is Alone

Yea Self-praise :p

I still play cricket and captain of my Company team. I am an all rounder. Attack bowler and big hitter ...Ooops again self-praise :D

Re: Home advantaage?

Of course. Thanichu. How did you know that. Google chitappa?

Stating facts is not self praise. I envied all rounders. Who could bat and bowl.

Re: Home advantaage?

I have lot of Malayalam friends :D and watch movies too

Re: Home advantaage?

Re: Home advantaage?

Aap humein kuch jaani pehchani lagti hain. Pichle janam mein zaroor humari mulakaat huwi hogi. Aisa MUJHAY lagta hai.

Re: Home advantaage?

Vow you are getting great knowledge of hindi/urdu

yup its mujhay not mughay

Re: Home advantaage?

All in good fun. I should know Hindi cause I grew up In Calcutta and Bombay.

Pakistani films in Urdu - some words are real pakka urdu. Khauf for example. Bollywood hardly uses that level of Urdu.

Anyway diversion tactic appears to have worked. Unless the warring factions went to sleep long back. Will take credit anyway. What is that abt self praise?

Re: Home advantaage?

The high-IQ level of thread starting with great information in opening post, starting with great analysis ... all contributed and forced me to be at this level to talk to you :D

Re: Home advantaage?

Nobody gives a damn about your predicament because you are not a fan of PCT infact a pessimistic person who always try to spread negative things about PCT and PTI on this forum
