I dont even know if theres an answer to this question but its been bugging me for a while..especially after reading irems thread in cul “low acts” and seeing those iraqis kill innocent ppl..why was the best religion in the world revealed to the worst ppl on earth? I see all these muslims stealing, cheating, lieing ALL the time n as of now i havent seen a single gora do that..I am not saying they are all good n we are all bad but wat I see at work just embarrases me, especially me being the only muslim there n seeing all these other muslims steal n my co wokers talkin about them..it just gets to me

the thing is, we always get more depressed when it happens to our own people.. when we ourselves hurt our religion. Its just a bit of a generalisaion that goras dont steal, cheat.. commit sins... they do as well.. we all do, its jsut Islam is in the limelight these days and hence we see muslims as the bad guys
no thats not it...its just that we KNOW its bad, we BELIEVE in it n yet we do all these things? n wat do they get out of stealing shirts or toys(n loose self-respect n respect from others)?
hmm i think they know its bad too otherwise they wouldnt be in jail hmmm no? i mean cheating and stealing is a crime everywhere.. these rules are based on common sense, not religion.. right?
who knows what people get out of doing such things.. sometimes poverty drives people to do a lot of bad things..

just cuz some muslims r bad it doesnt mean that all muslims r bad....
and how can u call the muslims "the worst people" when Allah, in His final book, The Quran, calls them "the best nation"????
^ maybe the "you are the best of Nations" in Qur'an doesn't apply to this crop of Muslims.. but the ones who adhere to what Allah had revealed.

Good Muslims have not been able to overcome problems created by the bad ones. Muslims are generally more tribal and more emotional these days. They have a lot less "cool heads" prevailing on the situation.
Pakistanis were the cool heads 40 years ago. Thanks to Saudi and Irani influence, they have now fully joined the club of Tribal, and Insane Neanderthals (TINs). Quite aptly, the TIN cans are known for making a lot of noise with not a single positive result.
Please do not make fun of Quran by quoting out of context. Surah Asar clearly says that impatient, unjust, and ill-mannered people have always been the losers.
Now you can see why modern day Muslims are clearly the losers, and this is according to Sura Asar.

TJ, all those things u mentioned above happen in "gora" countries too. Women get raped and black men get killed... that goes on everywhere not just in muslim countries..
however, i agree with someone above, that muslim counrties are just going downhill. Noone seems to be focused on education, bettering the system, providing for poor, making the place more livable. All the focus is on strict Islamic Law, on how many more centuries can we go back to being "true muslims"
People are forgetting that Islam encouraged education, not just knowledge about Islam.. but about science, maths, the universe.. everything. I dont understand why muslims have limited themselves to just one thing.. neways my opinion is that lack of wordly knowledge is the main cause of such acts amongst countries who call themselves Islamic..
so u go out and blame those sects/groups and dont blame "muslims"....
u r free to say taliban r bad people....
or that (for example) bahrainis r very bad people, they lie and they cheat....
or that the mughal family is a bad family....

People are a product of there society.
In the muslim countires is it any different than system in US or Britain its Capitalism and man made laws there is no country that implements islam.
In pakistan for example the average policeman makes what 3000, 4000 rupees if his lucky then peple say why police is corrupt. No wonder poeple resort to crime they doing it to survive.
In West there plenty of kuffar who are crooks you have the biggest crooks who are world leaders like Bush, blair and Sharon who have stolen billions and killed millions!

and if sharia was passed in all islamic countries {which isn't the case @ the mo'} what would be wrong with it? and yes the muslims "centuries back" were on a large scale better muslims then the one's found in this modern era simply coz' they chose to follow islam very strictly which isn't done by all of the mulims in this day and age, u'll find ur good muslims but they'll only be in the minority.

Sorry dude, but the most bloodshed and destruction happened in the World Wars in which we weren't present. Cities such as Hiroshima and Nagasaki got erased and who did it? Who is responsible for most killings? Who supplies arms and ammunition to the poor African countries and rebels to fight life long wars? Who has created more conflicts in the world when colonialism of the British, French and the Portugese was ending.
You better read some history and look through some real statistics.
