Again, I have never claimed that Iran is without its problems. It is much better positioned to deal with its issues compared to Pakistan. Moosavi and others are looking to reform the system not overthrow the regime. The young have been stifled but not crushed like Pakistan. The social fabric of Iran is intact.

Unless you were visiting Pakistan in the 90s or literally going to a house and staying there, you are not telling the truth about suicide bombing and searches - not a day goes by without an incident or two in Pakistan. I was referring to climate of FEAR and despondence that exists Pakistan but not in Iran. Unless you go to both countries, you will not be able to see the difference.

I never said Iran was worse. My point was all is not cushy there too. I was agreeing with you while presenting the wider picture.

And yes, never got into trouble even though I went to places like in pretty much all provinces, bar Sindh. My point was just like you haven’t personally experienced anything negative in Iran, I haven’t personally experienced anything in Pakistan (In terms of violence no, corruption yes).

Err I’ve been to Iran many times before for business.
