Well numerology is not a fixed system that crosses all cultures - each culture has its own method. Unlike mathematics which cannot be made unique to each culture numerology is definitely not a universal language … it is the group name for a number of different systems … The Islamic numerology system is based on the abjad table and in other instances it is applied to matching a linguistic meaning to a physical property of the structure of a given verse, chapter or the whole Qur’an. It is undertaken to show that the perfection of the scripture is such that it could not have been humanly possible to create the Islamic scripture as well as unravel some implied meanings in letters of the Qur’an. Numerology on the abjad system has been applied on the stand alone letters of the Qur’an to derive some possible wisdoms.
