I wanted to know about the history of gupshup. Like :
when did it start?
who started it? how was it like when it first started?
Did guppies join it very fast?
did ehsan bhai start it?
who designed and developed it initially?

catwoman, what is the difference between Gupzine and paklinks??? i was checking out the links and… it is the same idea. what is the difference? is Gupzine supposed to be more literary or something? or what is the difference?

Gupzine is a part of GS and Paklinks, except that it has more in-depth articles. Yeah more 'literary' if you like.

^ it is not what you want..but what is the result of a strategy. GS works because it is lowbrowed and casual. There is a reason no one goes to chowk to shoo the siht...if you get my drift.

Gupzine is an e-magazine that Paklinks has launched recently, it’s the newest venture under the Paklinks dome which also includes GS as a discussion forum, the Yellow Pages and all other various heads that you see.
Gupzine is a magazine in every sense, only it’s not physical but virtual. We have articles there written by anyone who wants to write on anything at all. Quality and originality are imp like any magazine out there. The best part about Gupzine is that unlike magazines that are published after intervals with limited articles, Gupzine is always available online with all articles published available at a click, and readers can share their views or thoughts with the writer and other readers on a particular article anytime.
the diff between GS and GZ is huge. at GS we indulge in informal discussions, something like we do in a lounge while sitting with friends. At GZ we have an option to share our views on a particular subject under an article focusing on what the subject is and have a literary discussion.
Everyone can and should write for Gupzine, and encourage outsiders who can write, to contribute too. Everyone can write by the way, one doesnt have to be a professor to write 
and there’s always a beginning!

oh yes there’s a particular kind that dont, you identify with them i think, and there’s a kind that floods, so much so that they organize huge seminars in real life too.
