Basically Zardari are tribal Balochs who migrated and settled in Sindh during 17th century and now follow Sindhi language and traditions of the land. So they are as Sindhi as other natives now. Photo Zardari (Photo in Sindhi is Ilaichi) is famous folk singer of Sindh.

This is the common and popular perception. In fact, Zardaris are native to Sindh and descendants from Samma and Jat (camel herders) of Sindh . Before British Government of India introduced railway in sub-continent, camels-carts were most used way of transportation. As transport always bring money, so these Jat (owners of camels) became Zar-dari (wealthy).
