Basically Zardari are tribal Balochs who migrated and settled in Sindh during 17th century and now follow Sindhi language and traditions of the land. So they are as Sindhi as other natives now. Photo Zardari (Photo in Sindhi is Ilaichi) is famous folk singer of Sindh.
This is the common and popular perception. In fact, Zardaris are native to Sindh and descendants from Samma and Jat (camel herders) of Sindh . Before British Government of India introduced railway in sub-continent, camels-carts were most used way of transportation. As transport always bring money, so these Jat (owners of camels) became Zar-dari (wealthy).
But point to be noted, money begets money. money from camel transportation attracted links with Bhutto family that resulted accounts at Swiss Banks. :D

So Camels did a great job in Swiss Bank accounts. :D
Few people today know about the historical links between Makran region of Balochistan and Zanzibar in East Africa via the Sultanate of Oman. According to historian Beatrice Nicolini, Makrani Baloch soldiers formed the backbone of the Omani commercial empire in the Indian Ocean, including the territories of Zanzibar and Mombasa. As a result, a significant number of Baloch people settled down in East Africa where some of their communities still live. This picture shows a more prominent member of the Baloch diaspora in East Africa.

**Conversation between Mir Noori Naseer Khan Baloch and Ahmed Shah Abdali of Afghanistan after the defeat of Ahmed Shah Durrani in Kalat Balochistan in 1758. and after the 2 lines below Ahmed Shah also said to Noori Naseer Khan that God has bestowed Balochistan upon u and Naseer may God Give u the strength to rule Balochistan. and I must Add one more thing here Balochistan got complete independence from Afghanistan in 1758. and Balochistan had been a completely independent state Empire from 1758 to 1838 until the British Came in 1839.

when it comes to the Afghan rulers want to add some thing to counter the exaggerated Afghan rule and hype propaganda regarding Balochistan. Balochistan only came under the Afghan Ruler Ahmed Shah Durrani from 1747 to 1757 cause Noori Naseer Khan Baloch revolted against Ahmed Shah Durrani and defeated him during the 40 days siege of kalat in 1758. and yes Ahmed Shah Durrani married a cousin of Noori Naseer Khan apne rishtay ko mazbooth karne k liye Balochun k sath even after getting freedom from Afghanistan in 1758 Noori Naseer Khan helped Ahmed shah Abdali with his Baloch army but not for free Ahmed Shah Abdali used to provide annually Rs. 100,000 to Noori Naseer Khan and military weapons and provide for the expenditure of the Baloch army as rewards for that and as for Mamud Ghaznavid so Ghaznavid was a turkic ruler and ghori was a Persian ruler yes they were ruler of afghans but they themselves were not afghans according to the court historian of ghaznavid rule nizam ul mulk when Mamud ghazavid could not subjugate the baloch in classical ways of fighting the ghaznavid ruler resort to poisoning of the baloch and baloch also resisted the the rule of the persian king ghori according to the historian nizam ul mulk and afghans say that balochistan was under Afghanistan from 1747 to 1758 so it belongs to afghanistan what a joke lol so i want to tell them that Nadir Shah Afshar a Persian king belonging to the turkic tribe ruled Afghanistan independently from 1738 to 1747 another Persian king ghori also ruled Afghanistan independently from 879 to1215 and another Persian King George XI of Kartli also ruled afghanistan in the 18th century so it means that Afghanistan belongs to the Persians iran lol

Below is an interesting, informative article, the first half of which discusses Sindhi Baloch. It’s quite relevant to this thread about Baloch history.
